After 2 years at SUNY Morrisville, I found my husband, Jeff, of 17 years. I landed a job at an engineering firm and planned our wedding in 1987. Jeff was in school and I continued to work while living in Cortland. We immediately decided to have children and on my 21st birthday, we had our first son, Travis. After 13 days of motherhood, we moved to Vermont and lived there for 7+ yeras while Jeff taught. Then we had our second son, Schuyler 2 years later. We missed family and moved back to Tioga, NY where I taught in the schools and then was director of a nonprofit program and went back to school at Binghamton University. For 5 yeras we lived there and then moved to Syracuse, NY to try out the ministry scene as Jeff became a youth pastor. I became the executive secretary to the vice-presidents of M&T Bank and we lived in Syracuse for 3 years - “Go ‘Cuse!” Still not settled, we picked up and moved to Millbrook and Jeff went back to being a high school principal and well, I’m here to stay until the kids are off to college... no more boxes, no more boxes, no more boxes!
