Ms. Uadajane Ketcham
Hi Class of '85...the more things change the more they stay the same. I also still live in the area, but now up on Connecticut Hill rather than in Mecklenburg. It's just my dog, three cats, my truck, my 1973 Corvette and me. I am still gainfully employed by TCS but since 1992 I have been functioning for about 12 hours a day in the role of Business Administrator. I hang my hat in the District Office now instead of hanging my sneakers in the Physical Education office. Having spent 18 years of my career teaching and coaching prepared me only slightly to take on this new challenge of running the business office so of course I had to go back to school to get my degree to be an administrator. It is the "business" side of school that no one usually thinks about when they think about school. I help run this almost $18 million dollar corporation and it presents many challenges. As many of you know we are just completing a capital improvements project that will total about $19 million plus. If you have been away for a while, when you come back to town you may not recognize the school. I even need a map to get around, especially the High School. This is truly a "great place to learn and a great place to grow." I wish you much success in getting back together to reminisce about the good old days. "Ketch"
